Okay I was watching 'Fruit Basket' a little while ago and yes I was inspired to draw them so here they are and yes they are much older than in the show...I like drawing them older only cause I always want to see them grow up a little :) plus it justifies my reason to drool over them. :rofl:

There's a lot I really don't like about this, one is the hair. I can't do short hair for nothing...*sighs* I wish I could draw short hair better. Plus I tried another tut to see if I could do it and of course I don't like how it came out. I should just stick to what I know and like to do, don't you agree?

The Japanese characters in the background mean 'Kyo' and 'Yuki', I found them on the internet while I was looking for a reference of the show.

Anyway enjoy the image even if I find all sorts of things wrong with it.

The hair and faces are great! I think the reason you don't like them that much is because they look a trifle flat...you need to get some highlights in there! They'll help define the faces more and give it depth. *wonders if she's said this before* :confused:

I could not believe what I saw when I checked my deviations!!! I have really gotten into Fruits basket and I think this is some really neat fan art. I have not seen any pictures of them being older!

Do you have a fave character? You may like Ayame.... (becasue of the long silver hair lol)

Short hair is a pain... ><

So this is what took you 3 and a half weeks, you poor girl. Good thing it wasn't Yazoo and Kadaj, probably would have taken much longer as your mind would wander to um... other things....

thanks.. I don't liek the hair though. the faces came out pretty good. I did try to make yuki's lighter cause he was a bit lighter then Kyo.

I did add shadows and highlights... not sure why it doesn't show up good for anyone to see it. but it's there..I sware it's there...:( and yes you did say it before. No harm in saying it again.

yes he is a sexy guy.. and yes he does have some beauitful hair....all that long hair. :drool: I like making all the younguns older..it's my way of being able to drool over them cause of my age...LOL

yeah, this took me 3 1/2 weeks.. a little bit here and a little bit there....I think I did each thing once a day. like I did the eye's on day then the hair the next. then changed it and did it again the next day.. and so on...next one won't take me as long.
